When our client recently acquired a luxurious vacation home in Napa Valley, they sought a whole-home audio solution that would cover both the indoor and outdoor entertainment areas. Their existing system, featuring decade-old B&O displays and Sonos Playbars, was outdated and impractical for their needs.
Our team at Immersive Installs orchestrated a comprehensive overhaul, meticulously designing and deploying a custom audio solution that combined functionality, aesthetics, and innovative technology.
A WHOLE-HOME SOLUTION
Indoors, we seamlessly integrated the existing B&O in-wall speakers with Sonos amps, providing a significant improvement in user-experience. We replaced the outdated Sonos Playbars with Dolby Atmos-enabled Sonos ARC soundbars, offering a superior cinematic experience, especially in the designated movie night room.
To tackle the challenge of outdoor audio, we collaborated closely with the client’s landscaping team to install over 800 feet of speaker wire in concealed conduits throughout the property. We meticulously positioned and concealed two pairs of Origin Acoustics LS65 Seasons Landscape speakers in the backyard, optimizing sound coverage for the pool and lawn areas. Additionally, a pair of omnidirectional NEAR ig8s2M speakers were installed near the bocce court and fire pit, providing balanced and immersive audio dispersion across the entire yard. Our attention to detail ensured that the speakers seamlessly blended into the landscape, creating an unobtrusive yet powerful audio experience.
To streamline control and user experience, we leveraged Sonos amps to assign specific zones, such as “Pool,” “Middle,” and “Lawn,” allowing the client to effortlessly adjust individual volumes based on their entertainment needs.
The result was a state-of-the-art whole-home audio solution that not only met the client’s technical requirements but also seamlessly integrated into the elegant surroundings of their Napa Valley retreat. Our meticulous planning, expert installation, and focus on client satisfaction have once again showcased our expertise in delivering premium customized audio solutions.
