This project aimed to level up the TV viewing experience for a master bedroom. To maximize countertop space and vanquish unsightly wires, we opted to mount a 55″ TV directly on the wall, hiding all cables behind the wall. For sound, we wall-mounted Orb Audio’s spherical speakers that sound just as good as they look. Speaker wires originating from the diminutive Orb Booster amp were routed behind walls keeping sightlines as clean as possible. Because the Orbs are lacking on the low end, we installed a low-profile subwoofer under the bed to handle bass responsibilities without occupying critical space elsewhere in the bedroom. This project exemplified simplicity by leveraging an Apple TV 4K as the sole content source. The Apple TV’s remote was programmed to control TV and speaker volume.
